SSAT, ISEE, & SHSAT

Just as the SAT’s are used to help colleges with their admissions processes, the SSAT, ISEE, and SHSAT tests have been designed to help high school admissions boards decide who will be admitted into their programs.  These exams test a range of subjects, including vocabulary, writing skills (sometimes an essay), reading comprehension, and mathematics.

Why Take Them

As getting into college has become more competitive, so too has getting into the top New York City high schools.  Unfortunately, the top high schools have a limited number of spaces available, and even getting into high school has become highly competitive.  This course has been especially tailored to accommodate the needs of younger students.  We work to improve vocabulary, basic math skills and reading comprehension.
